DID YOU KNOW?

Introduction to Wonder Cafe

Bin in the Narthex:

Q: Did you know the bin in the Narthex is not for garbage? The bin was set up to hold donations of empty wine, beer bottles or soft drink cans. Roly turns them in for cash and the money funds underpriviledged children for summer camp. Let's fill that bin! Way to go, Roly!

Communion Sundays:

Q: Why does one offer the Communion Host to ones neighbour and wait for the
neighbour to offer it to you?
A: We are honouring the tradition started by Jesus when he served the bread and wine to his disciples.

(Sir William Osler)

You make a living by what you get; you make a life by what you give.
(Sir Winston Churchill)
